We opened Art Cafe six years ago, directly opposite our old roastery. The building is an old Norfolk flint barn that once used to be a carrot washing shed (which explains the partially sloping floor). We lovingly converted it into a delightful cafe retaining the brick and flint walls, all of the original roof beams, and adding a more comfortable wooden floor.
The cafe offers the best vegetarian breakfast on the coast, a good choice of brunch and lunch, our own Grey Seal specialty coffee and tea, and a great selection of cakes and pastries from our onsite shipping container bakeries - all using locally sourced and foraged ingredients wherever possible.
Inside the cafe is our gallery of art and crafts (paintings, ceramics, jewellry, textiles and vintage) as well as our shop selling all of our coffees (which can be ground to your requirements) and teas, our own range of jams (also Great Taste Award winning!), local produce, and essential coffee making accessories.
There is a log fired stove for those cosy, cold and wintry days and plenty of outside seating in our courtyard as well as on the green opposite for those sunnier days.
The area is well known for it's walking and cycling and so naturally, walkers, cyclists and well behaved dogs are welcome.
